Affiliate Broker

Hey, All! ..

Just thought I'd drop a little tip on making a few dollars on a reasonably tight budget, and without a sizable list of your own ... By acting as an "affiliate broker".

As proof that this method works, I'll provide my own case study, involving a recent promotion I've been involved with.

Let's set the table, first ...

Find a recent release, or one that looks promising ... but hasn't saturated the Net yet, that pays very high, two tier commissions.

Contact the owner of the program, and let them know that you're going to provide special attention to promoting their program ... get to know them, and make sure they remember YOU.

See if it's at all possible for them to give you first crack at any new updates, promotions, etc.

When I say high commission, I mean a first tier of at least $100, second tier no less than $40.

First of all, join as an affiliate ... and suck up all you can regarding the program's offerings.

Next, put together a multi page site, or subdomain, and target it to the A.P.'s market.

Be sure to include an update followup form to autoresponder, to capture both potential sales, and new affiliates.

Launch a Google AdWord (my favorite), or Overture PPC account.

Once you have that up and running, get back to the owner of the program, and let him know of your "broker" intentions, and see if they will throw in a special bonus to help out.

This will seperate you from other affiliates, and help form a relationship with the program owner ... which may prove invaluable in the future.

Next, go to one of the major ezine directories, find ezines that target the programs market, and have a large subscriber base.

Subscribe to a few of the leading candidates, and check out the author's offerings.

Email the authors directly, explaining your "relationship" to the program owner, and ask them if they would run an ad in their ezine, using thier affiliate link, of course (they sign under you).

Push the high dollar aspect of the commission, and any included bonuses.

On your end, write related articles, with your site info in the resource box, and submit them.

Skeptical?

I thought you'd be ..

Check out the keyword phrase "mark joyner" in Google ...

I have enlisted 72 affiliates, and made $3100 in sales in the last month (most of them second tier).

It has cost me about $125 in Adword fees ..

It has also allowed me to build a very close relationship with Mark Joyner.

And, as my list has been put on hold for the temporary time being, I didn't use my main newsletter at all to promote it.
