There
is a lot of good free information available on the internet.
In fact for many years I relied strictly on free internet marketing
tools, free services and free resources to run my online business
- successfully. If you are on a shoe-string budget, or just starting
your business, this is a good place to start.
It
is true that most publishers or merchants who offer freebies,
do so in order to gain exposure - and also to interest you in
the products or services that they sell. That said, you will find
that some ebooks or resources that you download on the internet
are nothing more than a "sales pitch" and offer no real
information whatsoever. While this is not the case for most, it
can certainly leave a bad taste in your mouth for "freebies".
