Business Basics
There are a few key things that you will want to learn - and
learn well - while you are building the foundation for your
own online business. The very first thing that you should do
is to find someone that you trust and feel comfortable
learning from.
How
do you know who to listen to, or who to buy from? You find someone
who is already successful at what you want to do online,
and follow their lead. Sign up for their newsletter, read their
posts in forums or discussion groups, learn from them, use their
models as examples to go by, etc.
You
may be wary of "informational products" if you are
new to online business - and that is understandable. You really
do want to be selective about what you purchase, and also keep
your purchases to a minimum so that you dont get overwhelmed.
Instead of buying something because it "sounds good",
order the things that you need for your business and
marketing plan.
The
key is to find out what you need (specifically). If you
aren't sure, you should ask! You can ask for recommendations
in forums, discussion groups or other online
communities.

Gardner's Super Affiliate Handbook
This was actually the first Affiliate Marketing guide that I
purchased, personally. Rosalind goes into great depth, and covers
Affiliate Marketing in great detail. She has a very good writing
style, which makes it super easy to understand. This is a terrific
resource for those who are new to Affiliate Marketing!
The
One Minute Ebook
This guide will cover everything you need to know about writing
and selling ebooks - including how to find a topic if you dont
already have one!
Success
Alert by John Evans
This is an excellent book if you want to get a detailed insiders
view on how others have successfully developed online businesses.
One of the things that stood out to me most, interview after
interview, was how these people came up with their business
ideas... what they put into the start-up (time & money wise)
and how long it took them to achieve their outstanding results.
You'll find a lot more detail (including links to their successful
business models) than you will in most books - highly recommended!
