When
it comes to keyword research, I have used
both Keywords Analyzer and Adword Analyzer... as well as
WordTracker (both paid & free versions).
Between
the two software programs, Keywords
Analyzer is my personal favorite. That may
just be a preference, of course, but having them both on
my hard drive I do find that I use KA 100% of the time.
Chris
& Goran update it *constantly* and it now does WAY more
than Adword Analyzer did when I first reviewed it. I haven’t
used AA in quite some time, but I don’t notice any
emails or updates from Jeff so I assume it hasn’t
changed that much...
In
addition to the constant improvements & updates, I find
it easier to USE - preference, again... I like
how it "digs deeper" versus Adword Analyzer.
I
have a special link (through Chris) where you can get Keywords
Analyzer $14 cheaper than at their main sales page: www.selfstartersweeklytips.com/special.htm
I use Keywords Analyzer for "brainstorming".
I also use it to research competition and make my initial
keyword lists. I then check my list against WordTracker's
free trial (it's unlimited, never runs out).
I
have some screen
shots and walk-through's that you may want
to see...
The
series starts here: Affiliate
Marketing Info (you'll want to scroll down to the "Getting
Started" section)
If
you click through to "Creating
Affiliate Sites (Part 2)" at the end of that page,
you will see the section with the screen shots of Keywords
Analyzer. This may help give you a better idea of what all
the software can do.
The
reason that I check my list through WordTracker is because
KA pulls results from Overture - which combines singular
and plural listings. Also, they get their results from a
different source than WT, so it pays to doublecheck your
list at both.
The
really cool thing about Keywords Analyzer is that you can
import keyword lists from WordTracker, too! ;)
