I dont actually pay attention to KEI - I just ignore it altogether.
Instead, I take a look at how many searches any given phrase gets per day - and then take a look at the top 10 results for that particular phrase. In other words, I analyze the "competition" manually. You arent competing with ALL of the results - only the top 10! Why? Because that's where you want
your page to be

You wont need Keywords Analyzer to do the same - just read through to the part where I am researching the backlinks (or inbound links) for the competing pages... which is done using Yahoo's search box.
