Hmm, I must be a weirdo. I love brussels sprouts and beets. Liver is O.K., depending on how it is cooked.
But I agree on the "weird meats" categories. No way I'm eating a tongue or moutain oysters or brains or any of that stuff.
On the ther hand, coming from a "southern Kentucky mountain family" I've eaten lots of wild meat: squirrel, groundhog, wild hog, deer, etc. All pretty good. None of it tastes like chicken
Haven't eaten any rattlesnake although my dad used to claim it tastes like chicken. I'll bet
Some cultures scramble eggs in fresh blood. That, also, sounds pretty nasty to me

Stefani: here is a recipie for brussels sprouts that you might like.
Cook the sprouts until tender. Chill in refrigerator until throroughly cold. Slice in half and add to 1 drained can of garbanzo beans (cold), and one small chopped onion. Stir and top with Lemon - mustard salad dressing or any other sort of tart salad dressing that you like.
Since I don't like vinegar, I always use lemon dressing
