More on removing yourself from Google

Postby bs28723 » Mon Jan 07, 2008 8:02 pm

Lynn blogged about how to remove yourself from Google in her blog on ClickNewz today. http://www.clicknewz.com/1278/how-to-re ... om-google/

At the top of the google page are 6 links to other reverse lookup sites. What other people can get on you for $15 - $50 is scary. Do a background check on yourself on switchboard.com.

But, to help folks out, I have links to the some of the other opt-out pages...

http://switchboard.intelius.com/optout.php

Reverse phone - phone # search gets cleared when switchboard optout is done. May take some time for white pages to clear.

You have send documents to get off of US Search lists.
link for details is http://www.ussearch.com/consumer/commer ... =10002101&

I am sure there are more, but this is a start.

Also, may want to check others living at the same address to make sure they get removed too.

Thanks Lynn for the heads up.
