I have been selling mint and near-mint childrens books on eBay for almost 2 years and have been reasonably successful with them (1589 positive feedback, 100% rating) and need to brainstorm ways to offer my current customers products so I can continue selling to them after this collection of vintage books is exhausted.
Could anybody point me in the right direction? I'm considering sending a surveymonkey survey out to ask the people on my list what they would like to see but that's only so accurate. Is there a tool that helps you predict what other products buyers of one type of product are most likely to want?
I've considered just re-tooling the site to utilize the viral ebook products to drive traffic to other sites but I think that would leave a lot of current customers saying "huh?" and jumping ship.
Oh, and did I mention that every title I retire means a little less traffic to the site so time is of the essence in making a decision.
I've worked very hard to get where I am (5500+ transactions) with eBay and really want to take advantage of that rather than changing gears completely which is always seen as a bad idea?
One of the things I've been interested in are CJ and NetShops if I could find the right products. I guess what I'm saying is I don't care if I keep selling on eBay as much as being able to capitalize on my success in other ways.
I'm a firm believer that when you're stuck you need a new set of eyes and ears to help you.
Thanks so much in advance for any ideas you may have.
Jeff

Sorry this post is so long but I thought background would be useful.
