Feedburner - thank you Lynn!

I'm over at right now. I'm still going through the site but just had to pop into the forum to say thanks, Lynn, for finding such a cool resource.

I especially like the idea of using the animator thing to display your other blogs on different blogs (that doesn't sound quite right but you know what I mean ...) Not that I have any other blogs right now but I do have plans for other blogs.

I'm glad you're over that flu - it sounds really horrible.

FeedBurner came highly recommended, and I think it was that caught my interest with it as hers was one of the first I'd seen. Really neat little gadget! It would go well almost anywhere - Ryze profile, signatures (html emails & message boards), web pages, etc.

As for the flu, I'm really not sure *what* that was - but I'm glad to be getting over it, that's for sure .

This will allow you to view, and respond to, all of the blogs you frequent from one desktop viewer. Very fast & convenient if you're keeping up with several blogs!

But oh, the pressure. I just realized that if I start using the Feedburner animator, I'm going to have to actually work on my titles, make them more sound-byte friendly ... I guess this is actually a GOOD thing.

Ahh, true - but its a good motivator

I do wish they made them in different sizes - perhaps scrolling 3-4 entry titles at a time. Would make a good sidebar graphic on a website!

I'm sure there are other options, so I may look around and see what I can find...

I finally joined the blogging world yesterday... it only took me all night to figure out how to do it. I told Kelly McCausey that I think I needed a remedial blogging setup course.

I've also seen those yahoo boxes for links to blogs? Is that the same thing as feedburner?

Welcome to Blogging!!

Yes, you can get that through FeedBurner as well. I dont use Yahoo that much, so it didnt appeal to me - but using FeedDemon, I can add any blogs I want to (as long as they have a feed set up) and then view them all in that one program.
