Specialty fee-for-service medical practice seeking medical billing specialist to provide medically coded invoices for patients to submit to insurance companies for out of network coverage.

Our practice does not accept insurance, but does provide medically coded invoices for its patients. We are seeking an experiened medical biller for a part-time work from home position to provide proper medically coded invoices for our patients. Must be experienced with ICD-9 diagnosis codes and familiar with the basic CPT codes. Candidate will deal directly with patients by email and will be expected to adhere to an agreed upon schedule for completion of medical bills. Experience with fee-for-service invoices preferred but not required. Candidate will need to generate 20-30 medically coded invoices per week and deal with occasional correspondence from patients and insurance companies regarding medical bills. Seeking independent worker with high integrity.
