Customer Care/Technical Support Associate

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Customer Care/Sales Associate is responsible for handling inbound calls to provide excellant customer service and to providing Level 1 technical assistance. The position requires a professional friendly demeanor with a strong desire to deliver the best possible customer service. They would also interact with customers via inbound calls for the purpose of providing assistance to customers that are setting up home networks,accessing the Internet or having basic cable issues.
Hours of Availability: Flexible to work shifts between the hours of 7am to 2am Monday – Sunday-
Pay: up to $10 per hour

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Basic Technical and troubleshooting skills
Excellant Customer Service Skills
Excellent problem diagnosis and problem solving skills
Strong communication skills
Must be well organized and be able to handle multiple tasks to document issues
Must be a positive team player and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to continuously learn and keep update with new technologies
Ability to guide a customer through appropriate solutions, including sales
Training: Sutherland Global Services pays its employees for initial training and offers basic and extended training options for career-minded individuals.

32 Bit Windows XP or 32 Bit Windows Vista (Home Premium or Business)
1 GHz or higher Intel Pentium 4 or AMD 64 processor
