I recite stuff to later translate into blogs or other publications as I commute to and from the office. I will simply email you a mp3 file. You will return in written form.

I'll pay you as an independent contractor $0.35 for each minute of recording that I send to you, rounded up. so if I send one with 16:22 on it, it would pay 17 x 0.35 for a total of 5.95. If you have to listen to it twice to get it right, there is no extra pay. The pay is solely based on the minutes of recording sent to you.

Payments will be made at the end of any month. I'll need an email with a list of what you transcribed and the totals in a format like:

I try to speak at a moderate pace, and as clearly as possible. These should be 95% or more accurate, although any "uhhs" or other stuff that doesn't fit can be eliminated. If any are deemed to have been done in a careless or sloppy manner, they will not be paid for. All material is and will remain my property.

The subjects will likely cover various business topics, but also may go into science, philosophy, politics, etc.. You do not need any specialized knowledge about any topic. If you hear something you do not understand, simply type it out how it sounds and I'll fix it. You will need a reasonably solid command of the english language.
