To support our growth, Future Nine is currently looking to hire 1-2 individuals for part-time or full-time customer support positions.
Job details:
You will be helping customers troubleshoot their ATAs, Soft Phones, and PBXs - as well as help them with other issues such as billing and general questions. Most work will be done online via email, instant messaging, and similar media.
Requirements:
* Responsible, self-learner, and able to work unsupervised.
* Great people skills.
* Native-level English.
* Knowledge of general networking concepts - TCP, UDP, ports, routers, modems, ATAs, NAT, etc.
* At least basic knowledge of how the SIP protocol and VoIP works. Ability to understand and troubleshoot ATAs.
* Asterisk and Linux knowledge a bonus (not required).
* Be prepared to work hard and deal with difficult customers at times.
* University degree not required.
* Location does not matter. You will be working remotely via the internet.
This is an entry-level position and would be perfect for a student or a recent graduate looking to start their career. Other applicants welcome of course. The position is work-from-home and can be done from anywhere in the world. You will however be required to come online and perform your duties during your schedule without supervision. We need someone who is a self-starter and self-learner, and can work independently unsupervised. We will not be watching your every move - but we will be watching the results very closely.
