Job Summary
Perform routine to complex customer contact functions, including interpreting, analyzing and resolving customer inquiries by telephone.

Job Functions:
Perform heavy customer contact responsibilities by telephone. Provide information, research accounts, respond to billing, deposit and rates inquiries and discrepancies, schedule orders, establish and disconnect service, make payment arrangements, perform credit arrangements.
Analyze and interpret account information, applying Tariffs as well as company rules and regulations.

Multi-task in environment with fluctuating workload with high volume customer contact working independently or as a member of a team interfacing with customers, co-workers, supervisors, and other department representatives or supervisors.
Complete assigned duties accurately and efficiently while maintaining monitored production and quality standards.

Complete company forms and records accurately.
Interpret and follow Tariffs, company rules, standard practices.
Maintain and safeguard confidential information.
Other duties as assigned.

Training is Mon-Fri; 8am-5pm for 4 weeks.
After training the shift is Mon-Fri; 9am-2pm OR 10am-3pm
Agents will work in the call center for approx. 6 to 7 months and then will move to their home for the duration of the assignment.

These will be long term contract jobs - - No End Date - - there is the possibility of conversion to perm status IF the employee is willing to work a full time schedule in the call center (no longer at home). This is not a guarantee, but employee would be considered for the full time position opening prior to hiring outside.

Previous experience in a customer service, administrative or professional environment REQUIRED.
Proficiencies in computer, business math and business communications skills REQUIRED.

Must be able attend training on site location and work the hours specified.
Must successfully complete all aspects of required training within company standards.
Must meet Company established keyboarding and skills standards for position.
Must comply with company rules of general conduct, policies and procedures.
