Freelance Stationery Designer-Work From Home

We are seeking a designer to create stationery items such as holiday cards, thank you notes, and invitations to be distributed via mass-market retailers. We're looking for individuals with strong personal style as well as the ability to work with specific direction. Applicants can be located anywhere in the US.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Create greeting card/stationery products and accompanying style guides on a project by project basis
•Work collaboratively with creative director, art directors and pre-press team

REQUIREMENTS:
•Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent preferred
•Excellent visual design skills necessary and outstanding design portfolio
•Experience in creative and conceptual problem-solving
•Qualified candidates will also have strong organizational skills, be able to work effectively under deadlines and manage concurrent projects
•Adhere to technical guidelines
•Excellent communication skills
•Proficiency in software applications such as Quark, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is required.
