AccountNow provides lower cost alternatives to this market with products including “second chance” bank accounts, debit cards, credit builder, electronic transfer and bill payment services through numerous marketing channels.

Position Summary:
We are seeking seasoned, energetic, and tech-savvy remote customer service representatives who are passionate about helping our customers. As an AccountNow Remote Agent, you will be receiving incoming calls from current and potential customers. The type of calls may vary depending on the customers need(s). You will receive all of the necessary information to handle these calls during the program training and have weekly meetings and occasional home visits with your Team Manager.

Job Function

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
• Provide S.T.A.R.S (Super, Terrific, Absolutely, Refreshing, Service) to all customers in English. Spanish a PLUS***
• Provide a personalized service and offer the benefits of our product
• Monitor and manage performance based on customer surveys and manager feedback
• Offer benefits of having an AccountNow Vantage Visa or Vantage MasterCard
• Discuss new products with Customers over the phone
• Greet and Serve customers with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.
• Diffuses anger, shows empathy, troubleshoots, probes, and engages in active listening.
• Determine customer needs in order to sell/upgrade services
• Explains company policies and procedures concerning all services.
• Provide quality customer service surrounding company values
• Accesses customer databases or other electronic files and/or paper reference material to locate customer records and research account history

Qualifications and Experience

Required Skills:
• Be able to effectively communicate in English / Spanish a PLUS
• DSL or HIGHSPEED INTERNET CONNECTION (No wireless connection) a must.
• Internet Connection: DSL or Cable connection only minimum Downstream Speed: Up to 3.0 Mbps Upstream Speed: Up to 512 Kbps
• (Sorry, no modem access OR Satellite connections.)
• Dedicated Connection – All representatives must have a dedicated internet connection. A second internet connection is recommended to minimize connectivity/system issues and achieve ultimate performance.
• Also have the ability to work in front of a webcam for the duration of your work shift.
• The desire and availability to work more than 20 hours a week. Our call center is open from 5AM – 6PM PST (Pacific Standard Time) MUST BE FLEXIBLE IN SCHEDULE (work some weekends and on notice in an emergency situations).
• Ideal for mature individuals looking for supplemental income

• Proficiency with window and internet based applications
• Legally able to work in the United States
• Must be Efficient, Organized and Detail Oriented
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and changing environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Type 30 wpm
• Must have a minimum of 12 months previous customer contact experience preferably working in a call center
• Effective listening skills to ensure understanding of customer concerns, instructions and directions from team members.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively deal with customers. A professional and articulate phone voice, in addition to Basic Math, Reading, and Writing skills to be able to resolve billing disputes, read instructions and document necessary paperwork
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision including effective handling of customer escalations

Location: Work from home in a private office setting with no outside noises or distractions

Hours: Must be able to work from home part time in between the hours of 5:00am and 6:00pm Pacific Standard Time. Work schedules may vary
