Making Sales Letters Fun To Read

... was the subject line (headline) of an email I just got selling "The Blaylock Wellness Report."

I just love "high contrast" headlines like this -- something bizarre and almost outrageous, backed by strong authority.

See Agora doing this a lot with Dr. Williams, and a lot of the health newsletters do it all day long.

In a lot of cases they are hard to ignore and even fun to read.

Anyway, just wanted to share that little tidbit.

They can be great attention grabbers. The trick, obviously, is to follow up with a message that really uses the headline and maintains some consistency with that "high contrast" message.

There's nothing more frustrating to me than an awesome headline that's followed by the dull copy that seems almost unrelated.
