Lynn....PayDotCom Question

I came across an article Lynn wrote about PayDotCom while learning about affliate programs online and have a question...

I suppose my biggest concern about choosing an affiliate program is the ability to attract good affiliates. If I sign up for a smaller affiliate network like PayDotCom how do I go about recruiting my own affiliates if I'm not getting the exposre I'm looking for?

For example, If I were to contact a company and tell them about my affiliate program, how do I sign them up if I recruited them on my own? Does PayDotCom provide me with the affiliate links that I can then use to recruit affiliates?

Sorry the the 20 questions! I'm just learning about Affiliate programs.
