Wordpress hosting

I signed up to http://www.thirdsphere.com recently and have been wondering if it was the right decision?? They charge $25 per month.
I know thirdspere have extra scripts etc thrown in, but im sure i can get them for free else where??

Then I noticed that Wordpress themsleves recommend other hosting companies http://wordpress.org/hosting/ like http://midphase.com.

Midphase have a great looking plan for 11.95 per month, even though you pay for a year upfront.

Anyone got any info on this ???

Thirdsphere is a good service, but if you're looking for *really* inexpensive blog hosting, check www.hostprince.com @ $2.95/month. I've have several blogs there and Wordpress installation through Fantastico is a snap - stats provided through awstats - pretty typical c-panel setup.

Thirdsphere is great - I have over a dozen sites hosted with them. That said, they arent for everyone. They are a full-blown e-commerce hosting provider, so each account comes with a shopping cart, snap-in script center and affiliate program manager - just to name a few things.

If you are only hosting blogs, but want to be able to host multiple domains/sites (or blogs), take a look at HostGator. You can do that with their 9.95/mo account and they have cPanel too (which means you can install WordPress through your cPanel).
