But I thought it would make a great topic as well. How exactly do you backup and/or move WordPress?

Hello Lynn!

Wordpress.org actually has a complete general instruction set for moving a Wordpress blog here:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress

And a section of that page is specifically for moving from server to server, as you want to do: http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordP ... New_Server

Although these instructions also mention changing the URL, which you likely won't be doing.

Those are always great options to keep in my pocket, but whenever I can I prefer to work directly with SSWT members and others "within my circle".
