I bought a domain months ago for a blog I want to create. I am itching to start the blog now, but do want to have a professional template created. Right now, I don't want to fork out the money for the template I want just yet.
Do you see a problem later, if I wanted to change the template?

What blogging software do you plan to use.
For example, I use Wordpress and have found it easy to change templates, but had to insert Adsense again, some minor text and layout changes etc to get it how I want it.

I don't know of anyone who has copied their blogger content into wordpress - althought it might be possible.
Changing wordpress templates is easy as long as you know a little HTML.
Just download the one you want and activate it from the control panel.
In addition there are a good selection of free templates out there.
