Of course, people who are actually making money with IM can afford real solutions like Aweber. But losers like me have to look for the cheap stuff (or maybe that's why we're losers).
I wasted a bunch of time with Tellmatic before deciding it was just for private servers. But now I think I've found a winner, NmnNewsletter. It's for regular newsletters, not autoresponder stuff.
If you're comfortable with installing WordPress the old-fashioned way with FTP and don't mind editing a text file, you should have no problems with this. will get you the zip file, and there's a good PDF manual inside. The home page is in Italian, so I don't know what it says. Ciao! (my total Italian vocabulary)
