You can look at the Alexa rating and that will give you a general idea, but of course, like everything else it's not 100% accurate. It still gives you a ballpark estimate to compare to your own Alexa rating. (http://www.alexa.com)

Leaving stats live is a common mistake. A lot of people leave that page open to the public instead of password protected without even realizing that it's out there.

However, I have to agree with David, I wouldn't go trying to find those pages, it's kind of a sneaky tactic
