Yeah I used to think NO follow still gave me points at least for the keywords that I put in the anchor. So I asked Roy Montero who is an SEO and he proved to me through reverse engineer testing that no follow tags don't work for PageRank and neither do they work for ranking your keywords. This is good to know so we don't waste our time getting NO follow links for SEO purposes.
Of course a NO follow link from a page that gets a lot of visitors will ultimately bring people to your website. So those are definitely worth pursuing. Wikipedia links for example are no follow bu they bring lots of visitors to your website.
Alejandro Reyes the Successfool said in one of his videos that the links he got from Wikipedia bring him lots of visitors.
