My norton security program and adware program going crazy this alexa...

Getting me nervous, should I remove alexa or should I keep it, any reason I should keep....Getting alot of warnings about alexa doing a lot of tracking I guess on me..... :?

Alexa causes a lot of known problems like this. Its been called "spyware" more than once. Its not really necessary because you can always go to the Alexa.com website to get stats on sites... or you can use the plugin/extension for Firefox if you use that browser.

I try to stay away from having too many tool bars. It just cluteres up my browser... : )

I too try and minimize my toolbars. Right now I use Firefox browser and have the Search Status extension installed. This extension shows two neat bars on the bottom left of your browser window. One for Alexa and another for PageRank.

It's lightweight too. you may want to try it out.
