not a bad idea robert - i'll take a look
Hey kelly
plaxo is a sort of like having business cards on your computer.
It works through Outlook Express (it might work through other mail server programs as well = just the one I use).
Every time you interact/email with a new person - it will ask you if you want to send them a note asking them to update their info on their 'business card' you have for them. They do, it gets sent back to you and then goes in your Outlook Express files.
I haven't used all the features, as I just started with it, but I believe there are some other things you can do with this.
Saves you time keeping your contacts info up to date. The program will keep a record of who you haven't asked once a week and ask you if you want to send out requests to update to those people.
I learned about this nifty tool via Ecademy.
It also allows you to send a 'business card- like' sig line.
It was pretty cool.
Go check it out - if you can stand the beeps! (or wait till I find out if beeps can be taken off)
Did I explain it well enough?
