Do I need a website for my affiliate marketing business?

You dont HAVE to have a website but it certainly helps...most affiliate programs give you a link and some give you websites but in the long run you will want your own domain name to sell other's affiliate products...

yes, if you have a web site it definitely helps. you can create a free web-site (many free web-site making directory's are available on net). or you can create a blog. if you have a professional web-site it definitely helps.

For a better pick up on your sales or service you have to keep your own website, rather than depending on other people website.

What a great question this is. If you surf other boards related to affiliate marketing you see this question in many different formats. I myself have posted this very question on other boards.

I really do wish we could get some people to weigh in on this topic. If I understand your question correctly, it is the same question I have. It is not that I do not intend on building websites to promote products, I am just trying to figure out the best way to answer the question on the affiliate network applications concerning a web site.

Based on the fact that I do not have a website at this time:
Do I leave this information blank?
Do I create a personal blog and use that as my site?
Do I create a personal web page and use that?

Would someone please help with detailed information on how they have handled this process. I would greatly appreciate it and know others would as well.
