Work Hard, Or Work Smart?

Postby JosephRatliff » Wed Oct 10, 2007 8:14 pm

Here’s how a log home, shrinkage, and “Funniest Home
Videos” can make you a much better Internet marketer.

Did you know there are basically two ways to build a log
home? The first way is to simply do it yourself (which,
frankly, isn’t so simple.)

If this is your first log home, you’d better do a LOT of
research and learn everything you can.

Then, find a forest where the owner will let you cut down
trees.

Remember to pay the owner.

If you see a bear cub, do NOT assume it’s an orphan.

Choose your trees carefully. Avoid crooked trees, skinny
trees, and trees with giant bee hives.

Probably only one out of a hundred trees is of high enough
quality to go into the creation a log home.

So be choosy.

Spend a lot of time on this.

Then, use a chain saw to cut down your trees.

Have someone videotape you. This is in case a tree falls on
you, your widow can sell the tape to “Funniest Home Videos”
to pay for your funeral.

Take an ax and chop the limbs off the trees.

Try not to chop off your own limbs.

Now drag the trees to the truck.

You might ask your friends to help you; they could use a
good laugh.

Load the truck.

Hire a tow truck to get your truck unstuck from the mud.

Hire a second tow truck to pull the first tow truck out.

Drive the trees to your building site.

Strip the bark.

(This is not as sexy as it sounds.)

Let the logs “cure” for a good long while.

Hint: you can put off finishing the log cabin forever, by
continually letting the logs cure “just a little longer.”

Ready to go back to work?

Are you crazy?

Well, okay…

“Shave” the logs into the proper shape.

(No, don’t use your razor, use chisels.)

Cut the logs to size.

(You did make a plan that you’re following, right?)

Okay, now you’re about a third of the way done, but I think
you get the picture. Odds are, you will never complete this
process of building a log home, and if you do, you’ll be
sorely disappointed in the results.

The other way to build a log home is to let a master
craftsman do it for you. He oversees the process every step
of the way.

He knows exactly what to do, how to do it, and when to do
it.

He has his own team of craftsmen who are experts in their
individual specialties, ensuring that your home is as near
to perfect as possible.

There won’t be any leaks. No cracks. Very little shrinkage
over the years.

Your new log home will not only be completed, it will stand
the test of time.

So, what does building a log home have to do with Internet
marketing?

Everything.

When you try to build your Internet business by reading a
couple of books and then just winging it, you’ll most
likely work way too hard, and achieve only mediocre
results.

Or, you’ll do what most people do.

Give up.

But when you work with a Master Craftsman of Internet
Marketing, you’ll achieve the results you’re looking for.

And you’ll do it with less work, less frustration, and in a
lot less time than you could on your own.

Less Work
+ Better and Faster Results
= More Money and Success for You.

It just makes sense.

NOTE: You can work twice as hard and get half the results.
Or, you can join with an expert and get twice the results
with half the work. Now, which one makes more sense to you?
