Create a Compelling Vision
In order for you to be successful in any business venture or with any long-term goal you must have a compelling vision.
What exactly is a compelling vision? A compelling vision describes in clear detail exactly what you plan to accomplish, what you will have, do and be, and why you want your future to be what you state that it will be in your vision.
A compelling vision must include specifics and you must have the desire to truly obtain all that it includes. It is not necessary to know exactly how you will get there but your why must be clear.
In order to make your vision compelling you should visualize it with pictures. This helps to make it real.

Agreed. Too many people think "compelling" just means interesting... or "sounds like a good idea"... or "wouldn't it be nice if..."
Compelling is COMPELLING. As in "couldn't take my eyes off it if I wanted to". As in "can't stop thinking about it."
It's a self-defining test: if other things capture your attention... if you find yourself procrastinating... if you just haven't managed to get up the energy... IT'S NOT COMPELLING lol.

What a great definition! I actually help my clients create their business vision statements as part of their one page business and marketing plans. And everything you wrote MUST be present in them + a financial goal
