Summary Of PageRank
PageRank is all about how many inbound links are pointing to your page and the quality of those links. Quality refers to the PageRank of the referring page. [Edit: I have since discovered this information is not accurate.]
php generated pages, page.php, are not an issue. Google PageRank algorithm does not care what's on the page. The algorithm only cares about the number and quality links pointing to your page.
As for SEO and what keywords your page will be found for in the Search Engine (SE) results, the anchor text of the links will be the influencing factor.
