I'm doing important research on logo design services for a special project I'm involved with, and I have a few questions for members of the forum:

1. What logo design service do you use, and how would you rate them?

2. Do you believe a customed designed logo is worth the investment?

3. Have you ever made a logo with logo design software? Were you happy with the results?

As I mentioned earlier, I'm involved with a special project, which could result in a lot of free publicity for select logo design services.

I look forward to your feedback on these questions.

Great questions, David! I'm in need of a logo, too. I would love to use some software to create my own. I have also considered going to a couple of the colleges in my area to hire a student in the Art Department or Graphics Design area to design a logo for me -- it would be a whole lot less expensive than hiring a profession firm.

I've used a handful of places with mixed results.

One of my favs is Caroline Trembley: http://www.magentismedia.com/ She designed logos for a few of my design clients, as well as my web design biz:

I also was very pleased with the work from Laura at @VPG_Printing http://www.verticalprinting.com/

and then sometimes, I do my own logos

I use my husband @ for all of my logo and ecover needs.
He is affordable and reliable and at home if I want to change something. lol
