Web
Hosting Services

There
are thousands upon thousands of web hosts out there today, and
finding a quality web hosting service can be quite a project.
There are a few things to do to ensure that you pick a quality
host that will not give you trouble later.
1.
Check for reviews. Always check around for reviews
for any web hosting company. You can usually type review + (the
hosting company) into Google and find any reviews out there.
It is always helpful to check people's past expiriences with
a company.
2.
If it seems too good to be true it probably is. If
you find a company that is offering plans that seem too good
to be true, they probably are. Basically, try to stay away from
the hosts that are offering unlimited space and bandwidth.
3.
Submit a support ticket or email them. Customer service
is extremely important, so why not test it out? If you submit
a ticket or email you can see how long it will take them to
respond to it. This should usually be under six hours for a
good host, and a true quality web hosting service might respond
in under an hour or even in minutes!
4.
Find out how long the host as been around. Knowing
that a host has been around for a while provides some reassurance
that they are not going out of business any time soon. You can
whois their domain to find the creation date, or find out by
other means.
This
is just to start you off. There are still many other things
to consider when you are trying to find a web hosting service.
However, if you go by these four things, you will be much better
off when trying to find a host.

Hosting
- all eggs in one basket?
I'm in need of a good webhost. I have one site currently hosted
with Netfirms, which I love. They give tons of space & bandwith
for a great price, and I can't complain about the service at
all. I have three more sites in the works, and I'd LOVE to host
them with Netfirms also, but I'm so afraid!!

I would like to know what to look for in a web hosting company...
How
much space is needed? How many email address's. What should
they be offering me as a client?..
GoDaddy
Hosting Review
I've registered domains through GoDaddy for years - and never
had a single problem. Their support team has always been great
to work with, too. But their hosting package is THE PITS.
Need
a Web Hosting Company
Can you please help me on how to get started. Who do you suggest
for a host and where do I get a script like this one? I use
another host for my other sites and am pretty unhappy with them
right now.
