The
Current HOT Trend with Info
Products & Internet Marketing
I got handed
a link yesterday, and I'm going to pass it on to you. You requested
the Weekly Tips from SSWT because you wanted LEGIT ways to make
money online...
And boy do
I ever have one for you today!
I am not
going to mention this link on my blog. I'm not going to post it
on my discussion forum. I'm not even going to include the link
when I archive this week's tip online!
Here's
the deal - and I'm going off topic to give you a little
bit of history on why this link is HOT:
Info products
and reports are hot - and they have been for a long time. But
lately, they are REALLY hot, as in a GREAT way to make a substantial
sum of cash - AND build a really big mailing list (the easy
way).
The current
trend was kicked off, in large part, by Jonathan Leger's "$7
Report". Thousands of people saw the potential in that online
business model and took off with it.
The concept
is that you write a niche report and sell it cheap - making it
a no-brainer for your target market. The campaign goes viral when
you offer 100% commission to your affiliates and your list of
highly targeted buyers (I said "buyers", not "subscribers")
practically builds itself!
You can read
more about my thoughts on this business model at:
http://www.clicknewz.com/577/writing-reports/
.
If you are
already familiar with it you can skip that and just grab both
of Jonathan's reports that detail how to set up this easy model
-- AND the scripts to make it all work -- for only seven bucks.
Yes, $7.
You'll only
see mention of one of the reports on this page - the
second report and script will be given to you as an unadvertised
bonus (I know, because I bought it myself).

That's
not the point of this message, though...
Not everyone
can sit down and write a great report.
I'm not saying
that it can't be done, because it truly is easy and anyone can
DO it. But there may be any number of reasons why the majority
never do. Maybe lack of time, lack of focus, lack of certain skills
or funds to outsource certain tasks, etc.
But that's
okay, because on the flip side of this phenomenon has been the
opportunity for "everyone else" to capitalize on the
trend by promoting (or recommending) these great inexpensive high-converting
reports.
I mean, why
write a report of your own when you can earn 100% on every sale
just by recommending it - Right? Obviously you arent building
your own list on this side of the coin, but you ARE making some
great money.
(If you're
smart, you'll do both! *wink*)
I did a simple
promotion for one such $7 product, and earned $1,050
in commissions - all paid straight to my PayPal account.
I didnt have
to write a report, set up a web page, write the sales copy - you
get the drift. Of course, you can only imagine what the author
is earning off of the list that I helped him build ;) ...
The
Best Of Both Worlds
I've been
keeping a close eye on this "cheap report trend" and
all of the different angles that we can use it to make some good
money. None of these concepts are particularly new either. They
just happen to be REAL HOT all of a sudden.
And if there
is one thing I have learned in my 11 years of business...
it is catch the wave!
The wave
that is making a huge comeback right now is Master Resale Rights
(aka MRR). They used to be pricey, but this "cheap report
trend" has spread to the MRR market too and you can now get
resale rights at insanely low prices.
Just to give
you an example, I recently bought the rights to one of Liz Tomey's
reports. I had read it myself and LOVED it, so I was planning
to recommend it anyway. It came with MRR so I set up the web page
it came with and sold it at a seriously reduced price - only $10.
You can see that web page and the special offer here:
http://www.clicknewz.com/fast-cash/
It converted
at over 12%, sold 88 copies, and made $880. It
wasnt a major promotion, just a special offer. Obviously that
was enough to encourage me to buy a domain name and take it to
the next level - which I am in the process of doing.
Now here's
the MAJOR difference between promoting an affiliate link and promoting
a link to something you have resale rights to... YOU get to build
the list!
The visitors
who decide to buy based on your recommendation become YOUR customers.
Now if you are smart, you will use this VERY inexpensive method
to test a market. You can then write your own niche report, and
follow up with those buyers via email. Ba-Da-Bing: The
Best of Both Worlds!
(And you
still didnt have to sit down and write a report)
The only "problem" is finding the GOOD
products that also come with Master Resale Rights. I keep my eyes
peeled for any product by Liz Tomey (like
this one) simply because her products are TOP quality and
her sales copy always has an excellent conversion rate.
Speaking
of which, Liz also has a free
Resale Rights Tutorial (I highly recommend you take advantage
of that!)
I need to wrap this up because I already feel like I've taken
enough of your time. But I do hope you've gotten a sense of just
how hot this info-product trend is right now and why I took the
time to go into so much detail about it.
Here's that link I promised you at the very beginning of the message:
<link
& details removed>
.
.
I'm not
going to share this link on my blog, on the website or with anyone
else. I grabbed every single one of the products on that page
myself - and then decided to share the link with you so that you
can profit from it as well. But I wouldnt recommend letting this
secret source out of the bag to the general public ;)
Write a report.
Promote a report. Or resell a report. Take your pick and get out
there and pocket some of the BIG money that is part of this current
trend!
Best,
