Quick Resources to Boost your
Site Development & Marketing...
I
just returned from PubCon
in Boston, an incredible conference put on by Webmaster World.
I'm finally getting settled back into my routine, and wanted to
send you a couple of quick resources to boost your site development
and marketing for the week.
There
are a few photos and funny stories from the trip posted on my
blog, by the way - and more to come:

Leave
your comments, too - I'd love to hear your thoughts!
A
couple of quick (cheap/free) Site Development
& Marketing Resources for you:
Need Logos? You can have them done fast and cheap
by 'Bruno' at http://www.tendollarlogo.com
. I've seen his work, and it's definitely worth the ten bucks
he charges (and then some!). His turnaround time is quick, too.
If
you have websites or blogs that are rather plain, this is a cheap
& easy way to dress them up a bit and give them a much better
appearance!
Need Links? If you have a blog, you can submit
it to the Best of the Web Blog Directory FREE. This is one of
the oldest directories on the internet, so treat it like DMOZ
and get over there and submit your links: http://botw.org
You
can also submit your commercial website(s) to the main directory.
This is a great way to get a quality, relevant link from an established
website. Their rates are under $50/year (or $150 for lifetime
links). If you have ever purchased text links, then you'll know
this is a GREAT deal!
I had a chance to meet the owners of the BOTW
Directory while I was in Boston for PubCon. They are a great
group and I was impressed with their dedication to the directory
and their goals for the site. Even if you feel like you dont need
a new link to your website (???) show some love and give this
link a click: http://botw.org
- It would be nice for my appreciation to them to show up in their
site stats ;)
In coming issues I'm going to give you even more resources and
tips on Link Strategies. These are tips that
you won't want to miss, because I learned quite a bit on the topic
from the sessions at PubCon and from the people that I met there.
In fact, I'll leave you with a free tool from Jim Boykin - and
in the next issue I'll tell you more about how to use it, and
why you would want to:

Until
next issue!

p.s.
I had the opportunity to meet Matt Cutts (googleguy) and Aaron
Wall (author of the SEO
Book) at PubCon. Stay tuned to my Internet
Marketing Blog for more updates & photos from the trip!
